“We prefer to raise the normal size and not the super tiny. There are just too many problems and risks when breeding for teacup sizes. The tinies are more susceptible to injuries, hypoglycemia, defects, potty training issues, poisoning (takes less chocolate or sugar free gum to poison the smaller they are), obesity and dental issues. Many of these problems can arise in a larger chihuahua but there is a lower chance.”
